1 Appellee Oklahoma Natural Gas Company (Oklahoma Natural) is a natural gas public utility whose rates are subject to the jurisdiction of the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma (Commission). Oklahoma Natural has been engaged in the purchase, transmission, storage, and distribution of natural gas since October 1906, and it currently serves an estimated combined population of approximately 2,000,000 in Oklahoma through its facilities in 209 cities and towns and adjoining rural areas, and either the full or partial requirements of 51 communities through its transmission lines.
